Brazilica 2015 Street Parade / by Andrew Wilson

The Brazilica Festival Street Parade brought its unique collection of dancers, musicians and floats to the streets of Liverpool on Saturday evening. The parade has become an annual event since the first one in 2008 for Liverpool's year of Capital of Culture. This was the first time I checked it out so I was intrigued to see what it was going to be like.

Needless to say it didn't disappoint. There was a really lively atmosphere that everyone soaked up and enjoyed (except for one guy on his motorbike!) as the parade started from Abercromby Square and made its way through the city centre to end at the Chinese arch in Chinatown. I'd recommend going if you get the chance next year.

So take a look through my photos below and if you would like to leave a comment or subscribe to my newsletter then please do so below the gallery. Thanks!
