2019: Drawn to Detail / by Andrew Wilson

For me 2019 was a year of highs, lows and change, which had a bit of a knock-on effect on my photography. Now things have somewhat settled I’m hoping to change that in 2020, starting with a look back on last year.

In 2019 I found a furthered and continued enjoyment in searching for details on a smaller and larger scale, and by experimenting in mixing it up between quick and slower shutter speeds to capture movement in different ways. After years of chipping away at photography, I believe I’m starting to get a feel for the type of photos I like to capture most in a more assured way.

So here’s some of my favourites from last year - take a look and I hope you enjoy them!
